Botanical Stories

Nature is an endless cycle of growth and death, of beauty and decay, of changing seasons. The natural world is always present and yet never the same, always rich with inspiration.

She holds many stories and has different functions; a home for fauna, a hiding place, a sanctuary of rest, ...

Creating these Botanical Stories is my way to collect and preserve the mundane, beautiful and fleeting moments of nature.

Withered Beauty

Ever fleeting, ever changing and shifting with the seasons; flowers weren't made to last. Time spent in observation and admiration is time well spent, I believe.

The study of the life cycle from seed to mature growth, from full bloom to decay is something that resonates throughout the natural world and in my work.

A Summer's Melody

Summer is the season for lingering a little longer in the garden where one can find contemplation, space and a sense of connection. It's a place to unwind and to come home.

The garden offers you a corner where you can surround yourself with plants and flowers and hear their wonderful melody. It's a comforting shelter from the rest of the world.

At least, that's how it feels for me.
